YES, you can eat and lose body fat especially around the middle!
As I was researching some material on weight loss and muscle building, I was surprised to find there are foods that you can eat that will help you lose weight regardless how much you eat. Mike Geary a well known Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Specialist and author of Truth About Six Pack Abs advises certain vegetables contain a natural chemical called indole-3-carbinol (I3C) which helps your body fight stubborn belly fat. You can get more information about Mikes’ very revealing information at
http://urdollar51.mikegeary1.hop.clickbank.net
Upon further research, I found that these vegetables also contain high amounts of Vitamin C, soluble fiber, and multiple nutrients that our bodies need to maintain themselves. So what are these wonder vegetables you ask? Your mother was right when she told you to eat your vegetables even if they are things your not to crazy about such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, radishes, kale, bok choy, turnips, turnip greens, mustard greens, watercress, rutabaga, and of course every ones favorite cauliflower! Even if you add a little breading or cheese, pepper or spice to flavor it up, or mix and match these vegetables you get the benefit. Also to reap the full benefit of the indole-3-carbinol, you need to cook them or break up your vegetables to expose the I3C. It then acts as a strong antioxidant that protects your cell DNA and other cell structures and stimulates the production of detoxifying enzymes in your system. Lastly, ongoing research may prove eating organically grown vegetables of this type may help prevent certain types of cancer. More about organically grown and grass fed foods in coming issues of this blog.

Water, Water, Water
Water is very important to the successful weight loss program. Water carries the essentials of life through our very capillaries, veins, and arteries. Without water, out bodies would pollute themselves quickly! Water helps the body to cool, cleanse, and repair itself, without it we could not lose or maintain our weight. So, it is very important that we drink clean filtered water everyday, about 1/2 our body weight in ounces per day limiting the amount of caffeine, and empty calories that are associated with sugar, high fructose corn syrup, food colorings, chemical additives, and pasteurization (dead water). Water is top on my list however, we all need a break once in a while and we also need nutrition so I'm at least going to suggest a site I bumped into advising of a product that I have been using a while,(as I advised before, I research it, try it, if it gives me good results I tell you about it, not before) and so far it's affordable and tasty! It's fun, has few calories, and has healthy benefits for your body. If you want more information on this fabulous product go to the following siteto find out more.

Fat Loss plan
What we need to get started is a starting point, as you all know the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
I actually started my program 3 weeks ago weighing in at 185 pounds at 5 feet 7 inches tall at age 56 . My dimensions make me look like a beer barrel but it's not that bad. Current dimensions are 38 chest, 42 belly button, and 40 hips.
My 3 month goal (by June 30, 2010) is to be at the 175 pound mark and work that belly down to around 39 inches.
My 6 month goal by September30, 2010) is to be at the 165 pound mark and have the chest up to 39, belly button down to 36 and the hips the same.
Its important to feel comfortable at the weight we are at but its more important to maintain a medically safe body fat level.
I plan on modifying my diet a bit and doing some simple exercise that will help modify each area of the body I am interested in for now. I am not looking to be a surf king at my age. I feel good looks and brains are enough for now (ha ha),
Ok I told you before I would make some recomendations previously as to what I am doing or following.
I bought two ebook packages and am quite impressed, got a lot of good quality information for the money some I may not use but that remains to be seen. They can be found at:
http://5acf0r180kvw6tddnhoaj-wq5x.hop.clickbank.net and
http://6dc24o-53hx45tex21o3umhfyk.hop.clickbank.net
too much information is better then not enough especially when your parting with some greenbacks.
Next thing: NO white at night. No white bread, buns, donuts, pasta, rice, pastry thats after 6pm. That will give your digestive track a chance to digest the food you've taken in for dinner and break it down. Yes, you can still have this stuff but in moderation and during the day. (I know I know it sucks I am a pizza nut with mushrooms extra cheese heavy on the black olives and bring on those little fish.) The more you stick with this the better your weight loss program will develop and you can eat during the day so its not that bad, right.
Next, drink clean water! Not that junk out of the tap. I have heard that tap water is just as good as bottled water. BULL! I know, I worked as an environmental chemist on several serious sites in my history (Yes, that one too, LOVE CAn....). I started out drinking bottled water but it had to be reverse osmosis, not spring, not distilled. It will cost about a buck a day but its cheaper then soda pop and much better for you. No flavor you say put a twist of lime, lemon, or orange in it. Now it taste good, quenches your thirst, and it's good for you. How much should you drink? About 1/2 your body weight in ounce of water per day but don't exceed the gallon unless you medical doctor says its ok and start out gradually so you can get used to it, most of us are walking around dehydrated anyway. Lastly, minimize the caffeene intake as it too dehydrates you.

If you are not interested in buying bulky exercise equipment, that you have to store or buy prepackaged meals that are expensive and have questionable ingredients in them, then I would like to extend an invitation for YOU to join US.
If you would like to lose 20 pounds or more of unwanted, unhealthy fat over the next six months join us. If you feel you need to lose more or less that’s great, just as long as you do it in a healthy, comfortable fashion! Forget the “No Pain No Gain” nonsense. If you have friends or family members who might be interested in losing some pounds or toning up their bodies or want to eat healthier please forward this message on to them. We are looking to build a better world for all of us and our families are an important part of our support team!
As I find quality products that may be useful to you in your quest, I will mention them to you; it will be up to you to go after them. One other thing about this topic I will try them out first before I mentioning them to you.
I am looking to update this blog a minimum of 2x a week, sometimes more, and I will answer your comments in a timely fashion.
